Why has there been so much anger over Israel building in their own land? As Nobel Laureate and Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel said in his full page ad in the Washington Post yesterday, "It (Jerusalem) belongs to the Jewish people and is much more than a city, it is what binds one Jew to another in a way that remains hard to explain."
He is not alone, Israel’s Strategic Affairs Minister Moshe Ya’alon wondered why the West Bank should be “ethnically cleansed” of Jews and Jews be forced to withdraw to the 1967 borders, which are indefensible.
Israel, if you are listening, there are millions around the world who believe as our long time friends and as the possessors of that land for thousands of years, that you not only have the legal right to stay, but the spiritual right to stay in your own land.
Isaiah 12:2
"Behold, God [is] my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH [is] my strength and [my] song; he also is become my salvation."
Blessings to you Israel, now and always.
